Zara Zooms Through Time (Sort Of)

Zara didn’t mean to time travel. She was just experimenting with an old kitchen timer, a blender motor, and her grandfather’s worn-out watch.

When she hit “Start,” everything slowed down — her dog’s tail wagged like molasses, and her brother’s sneeze took 11 seconds to complete.

Zara screamed: “Time loop!” and hit reverse. Everything snapped back. Dog barked. Brother sneezed. Mom yelled.

Turns out, she’d invented a moment-freezer — not a time machine, but a way to stretch time perception.
Now she’s testing it in math class.
