Maya and the Moon Cheese Theory

2 moon cheese.png

Maya’s big theory: the Moon is made of cheese. Moldy, cratered, slightly smelly — it all made sense to her. Her friends giggled, but Maya had a plan. She borrowed her brother’s telescope and made a cheese sample board with every type imaginable: brie, cheddar, parmesan, even paneer.

At 7:45 PM sharp, she matched each moon phase to a cheese. The full moon? Clearly aged gouda. Waning crescent? Swiss.

She presented her findings in class the next day: “Conclusion: Moon may not be cheese. But it definitely looks hungry.”

Everyone applauded — especially her science teacher, who now calls her “Dr. Dairy.”

Science Spark: The Moon’s surface is rocky and cratered due to meteor impacts — learn how craters form and why it resembles cheese!
